of the Nile are proud of their Gold Plaques on the Donor Recognition
Boards in all 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children®, each representing
a contribution of over $1,000,000. To date, 11 of the hospitals have
received over $2,000,000 which is represented by a second Gold Plaque
in those hospitals. In July 2009, a third Gold Plaque was added to
the Canadian Hospital in Montreal representing contributions of over
$3,000,000 to that hospital.
Each year the members
of Daughters of the Nile give generously of their time to the hospitals
by providing more than 150,000 volunteer hours at the Shriners
