Happy 100th Birthday in 2013!
Celebrate!
Immortalize Your Temple!
Dance to 100 Years of Music!
The 100 Year Anniversary History Committee wants you to slip on your dancing shoes and whirl down memory lane to enable us to highlight your Temple in the pages of our centennial publication!
From each Daughters of the Nile Temple we seek:
- Clear copies of photographs from your Temple’s history, for example:
- Photos of your Temple set up; maybe you use special paraphernalia, like a spinning wheel or harp or unique Temple room décor;
- Photos of your past/present units in their unique costumes; and
- Photos of your Temple’s crowns, robes, first Queen, first officers, and features on your P.S.Q. or P.S.Q.s. *
- Stories:
- We especially want to know how your Temple was named; and
- Please answer the question, “Did you know?” with interesting Temple facts concerning your Temple’s activities or events found in your archived minutes. EXAMPLE: Did you know that during World War II a Temple purchased War Bonds?
* Instructions for photo submissions:
1) An original photo, meaning you have two photographs and send us one
2) Scan an original photograph and email it in a PDF
3) Take a digital picture and email that to us
Our centennial is a once in a lifetime event! Together let’s dance our way into a beautiful memory book, our legacy to the next 100 years of Daughters of the Nile!
